SUPERGIZ
Co-creation of 3D-printed prosthesis with children
SuperGIZ is a collaborative project for children with diverse functionality on their upper extremities. Through a series of workshops, the children together with their families and professionals from different disciplines come together to co-create their ad-hoc 3D-printed prosthetic elements.
The initiative aims to go further than only designing low-budget gadgets for these children: its purpose is to create a collaborative space in which these children can thrive amongst peers while it also gives them agency by participating in the design of the gadgets they would like to have in their daily lives.
