ROOTEDNESS / UPROOTEDNESS

Workshop reflecting together about (up)rootedness

What is your relation to rootedness? And to uprootedness? What do you feel rooted to? How do you feel uprooted? How do you build roots in a globalising world? What do you want to uproot yourself from in this fast-paced society?

In this workshop we worked primarily with words to poetically reflect on these topics from our very own experiences and cultural backgrounds. Together we explored how notions of rooting and uprooting can offer a rich and healing perspective to how we think and make in today’s globalised, hyperconnected and overstimulating context.
