IMAGINED CRE(AI)TURES
Creative research on the popular imaginaries and myths on AIs
Imagined Cre(AI)tures is a collaborative research in which we explore and try to give a certain shape to the common imaginaries and myths that people have around AI systems. The research was inspired by the medieval cartographic explorations, in which there where the factual knowledge could not reach, was the space of myths, legends, monsters and creatures. Hence, we invited people to fulfill an online form by imagining they were embodying an AI, and so, what their purpose and identity would be. The results are displayed in an online interactive dataviz.
