This handmade book was the thesis of the Master in Fine Arts. It complements the installation From my anxious body I can’t produce, so I make.
In the thesis I reflected about my own individual anxieties and connected them to a reality wider than my own, that of the culture that they are inscribed in; a culture that is anxious, a culture focused on hyperproduction and hyperconsumption, and a culture that uproots us. I weaved these thoughts through theory, poems and memories with the aim to articulate a narrative that offered me some degree of healing.
